The Baldwinsville Word of Life Church is a 24,000 square-foot addition
to an existing private school. The new addition provides sanctuary,
narthex and atrium spaces, offices, and conference and production rooms.
The structure is notable for the 150-foot clear span hip roof that spans
over the 1000 seat sanctuary. This was achieved
with a perimeter tension ring combined with a three-dimensional moment-resisting frame.
