The Winnick Hillel Center for Jewish Life is a 16,000 square-foot,
three-story building at the Syracuse University campus. The facility
functions as a full-service student center, offering dining, lounge,
library, conference, and theatre spaces. The structure features large
clear spans and moment-resisting frames to eliminate the need for
additional x-bracing.
This allowed maximum flexibility in the floor-plan layout and also made
possible the large amount of glazed area in the building facade.
